Adinata, Dicky. 2025. "The Effect of Training Class Program and Work Motivation on
Crew Competence at PT Winning Logistic Ship Management Service"
This study aims to analyze the effect of training class program and work motivation on
crew competence at PT Winning Logistic Ship Management Service. The background of
this study is the importance of improving crew competence to support the quality of
company services. The problem in this study is that the training class and work motivation
programs provided to the crew ofPT Winning Logistics Ship Management Service have
not been able to optimally improve the competence, motivation, and work responsibilities
ofthe crew, so that cases of work accidents and decreased performance on board are still
found. The method used is multiple regression analysis using data obtained from 100
respondents. The results of the study indicate that the training class program (X1) has a
positive and significant effect on crew competence (Y) with a regression coefficient value
of 0.923 and a calculated t of 6.351> t table 1.661, which means that training classes
contribute to improving crew competence. Furthermore, work motivation (X2) also has a
positive and significant effect on crew competence (Y) with a regression coefficient value
of 1.579 and a calculated t of 3.587> t table 1.661, which shows that the higher the work
motivation, the higher the crew competence. Simultaneously, training class and work
motivation have a positive and significant effect on crew competence with a significance
value of 0.000 <0.05 and F count 110.043> F table 3.089. Based on the results of the
study, it can be concluded that training class programs and work motivation can
simultancously improve crew competencе. |
