Cement Clinker Loading at Tanjung Intan Cilacap Port at MV. Viindonissa"
Maritime transportation plays a crucial role in supporting international logistics and trade
flows, particularly through bulk carriers used to transport bulk cargo such as cement
clinker. The efficiency of loading and unloading processes is largely determined by the
performance of transport equipment such as ship cranes. This study aims to analyze the
effectiveness of ship cranes on the smooth loading process of cement clinker at Tanjung
Intan Port, Cilacap, on the MV. Vindonissa. The problem was exacerbated by a lack of
coordination between the ship, port, and agents, as well as limited spare parts and
communication barriers. This study is expected to provide appropriate solutions and
strategies to address these operational disruptions, thereby improving logistics efficiency
and port productivity. It is also expected to contribute theoretically and practically to the
management of heavy equipment in the maritime sector.
